This service blocks pornography, violence, and other questionable materials offering parents control over what their children view on the World-Wide Web.

The content filtering itself is server-side, not software. This means all the filtering occurs through a proxy server that we maintain.

How This Service Works

It's very simple.

Sign up for Filtered Service by calling our Technical Support Department at 954-9090 in the Greater Little Rock area or Tollfree at 1-888-775-9090.

Once you sign up for a Filtered Service Account, you will be directed to the World Lynx filter page to download the software. When you get to the page, just follow the instructions, and install the browser software on your computer. This browser will contain the configuration and proxy settings for your new Filtered Service Account.

IMPORTANT! Once this browser is installed, it cannot be uninstalled without calling World Lynx for assistance. This is a security precaution to insure that the service can not be bypassed by simply uninstalling the browser and settings.

You will then be identified as a Filtered Service Account in our system and access to questionable, pornographic, and other sites will be blocked by those accessing the internet through a filtered service account.

PLEASE NOTE: Upon request, you will be issued a password. Only those with the correct password will have the authority to bypass the filtering service and surf the web with no restrictions.

We will get updated filtered (or barred) site lists on a daily basis. We are confident that this system is the most secure, safest filtering service available.
